Baby Elisa growing up!

Baby Elisa is now 5 weeks old and I haven't had a chance to blog since we've been home from the hospital. Check out Elisa growing up!!!!! (You can also check out the next 5 blogs where I tried to get caught up with what has been going on for the last month in my family!)
4 days old... (my sister in law Rachel did an amazing photoshoot of her)

Baby spent the first week and a half on a billie bed because of jaundice. So glad she is done with that and doing much better!

Mother's Day!

Mother's Day had new meaning this year with a brand new baby. It meant when I got woken up to have a lovely breakfast in bed...I was soooo dead tired that it shows in my picture!

It also means that all the chocolate I got for mother's day and at church can't be eaten by me since it makes a VERY FUSSY baby! Boo hoo! My family made me a lovely dinner...thank you Steven!

And thank you to 4 of the reasons I love being a mom!

Fathers and Sons

Steen went on his first father sons campout this weekend. It rained and the wind blew all night...but Steen slept through it. He had fun sharing a tent with his buddy Luke and looks forward to camping again. Daddy just hopes it's a little quieter next time (tent was flapping in the wind all night) so that daddy can get some sleep. I don't feel too sorry for him since I don't ever get sleep anymore with a new baby! ;-)

Dance Recital

The girls both did awesome in their dance recitals. It was fun to watch! Here are their end of the year dance pictures.

Andrea is 2nd from left....
Michaela is front and center and probably a head taller than most of the girls.

Kindy500

Andrea's kindergarten started a new tradition this year...the kindy 500 . Each kindergartener had to build an applebox car and bring it to school for a parade and program. There were some amazing, amazing cars!!!! I can't believe how hard these kindergarteners (aka. parents) worked! The kids had a blast and after the parade they went to 8 different patriotic stations where they learned about the statue of liberty, mount rushmore, liberty bell, the flag, etc.

Here is a short video of a few of the cars. Andrea is 3rd from front. One of my favorites was the flinstones car!
Also notice the real headlights reflecting off the back of Andrea's car.
